Gen3
Lets talk about the card that started it all, card 66/109 of the first Gen 3 pokemon card set, EX Ruby & Sapphire. The set realeased in the following western languages English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese This was the first set for R&S and marks the first apperence of our lil shy emotional friend. :)
The intial release in japan was in the mudkip starter construction set [築済みスターター ミズゴロウデッキ], where ralts was 007/019 of the deck. The deck is closer to what we would consider a theme deck now, with only the mudkip line, partial aron line, and of course, partial ralts line
Variations. Lets talk
There are diffferent types of Variations for each card
A lot of cards realeased in gen three have a (frankly annoying but nifty) feature where there is a possbilty of having multiple codes in the bottom left corner of there card. For ralts 66/109, this is FOUR seperate codes for english languages (*important to note, Reverse Holo is one specfic code - there is NO CHANCE to get a reverse holo with anything but its designated code). For Japanese Release, there are TWO seperate codes per edition. For Korean, there is only edition at this time so only one possbile card.
International release
(since I am mid move, images are sources from random places as place holders, think cardmarket ebay, posts etc. I just don't have the abilty to take photos of my own collection yet)
The four available english cards are all from the EX Ruby & Sapphire, with no external variations
