Ralts, Ralts, and more Ralts!

MERCH!

So if you have found this page you have either done so by being a ralts enthusiest, or just as likely, seen my link for my collection and hence this website, floating somewhere on the internet. This section will cover two things: my collection of ralts line merch and the database of all possible ralts line I can find

My collection of ralts line merch will be. so much. I have obtained a lot of official and weird bits of merch, as well as some fan things (though not as much as I would like, I need more :c )

The ralts line merch database on the other hand, will be wayyyy more comprehensive. While I will go over this more on the page - it will go over things such as origin, languages if applicable, variations, and general information about it. All sources for merch IF KNOWN/FOUND will be linked at the end of the page. I have gotten a lot off of yahoo!j auctions and mercari jp with very little info sometimes. And other times all the information I have is someone saying a "oh I half remember this" so take it all with a grain of salt when I say so.

For now (until my coding gets better or i find a better template for that aspect) I will link to everything in the links below via year if known, estimated era if not (and thoughts on why).

I will be sorting through the type of item, instead of year or source. This is done for a few reasons: 1) Items that I don't truly know the origin of can be lumped with similar things, making it easier for others to recognize or realize what they are. 2)It will be easier to see the differences in certain items (ex tazos or lamin cards can have some very slight differences that are hard to see right away, but near each other it will be easier) 3)I will be making, AT A LATER DATE, pages for brands/campaigns (moonlight masquerade for example [my beloved๐Ÿ’š], or something like sticker brands) so we can all get a sense for the type of art.

SO! where am I getting images? Truly, a mix of places. There will be ones obviously from my own collection [those will be noted as such], but there will also be a lot that I have taken photos from off the internet. In those cases - If I have them, I will link. It is possible that links go dead or websites go bad [DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS OF MINE IF YOU ARE WORRIED. WHILE THE MAJORITY WILL BE FROM LEGIT SITES LIKE YAHOO AUCTIONS, EBAY ETC, SOME SMALLER COUNTRIES SITES AND THE KNOCKOFF/BOOT STUFF CAN BE. SKETCH. I will warn when able if i am worried about a link, but I suggest an ad blocker of somesort regardless.]

WELL! let's get started then :D There will be a lot of categories and in truth, you might think one item should go somewhere else... and in truth, a lot of things do have overlap - But I have only so much time and sanity SOOOOOO....

Merch Time

So whats all this mean?

Books: This section will include books of all sorts. Any books with ralts line on the cover is on, but so are books that contain it within. Childrens picture books, Zukan books/Pokemon encyclopedia/dexes, Guide books, Manga volumes, comic books, magazines. I will also be including a section of notebooks, planners, journals etc. If it looks like a book, talks like a book, and walks like a book it is likely here.

CD & DVD: Music and the anime baby! Anything related to the music and visual mediums (movies shows, shorts etc) will be here. There will also be a section with the (one) video game featuring ralts and the (one) video game featuring gardevoir prominently in the boxes.

Clearfiles So for those of you who don't know a clearfile is a type of folder, primarily seen in japanese merch that often has art on it for pokemon merch. most are one pocket and about the size of a normal folder or smaller. they can have some GREAT art and there are a surprising amount of them

Cloth stuffs Bit of a catch all term - Anything softish and cloth that is not a plush or toy is here. Clothing obviously, but also bags, pouches, wallets, toweles, picinic blankets, hankerchiefs, phone cases/related phone case things, and anything related to sewing or ironing on.

Figurines

A bigie. there are A LOT of pokemon toys and figurines out there. this will include all of them, with specfic types being given thier own pages (finger puppets, metal figure collections, figures that require assembly)

Dishwares

Anything you can eat off of for breakfast: plates, dishes, mugs, cups, cans and tins, etc.

Jewelry

Can you wear it on your body and might poke you or get stuck in your hair with a clasp? probs jewelry. Necklaces, rings, pins, charms, key chains can badges and the like

Paper goods One big old catergory here. While this covers obvious things, such as posters, flyers, promotional materials, tickets, calanders - it also includes one of my favorite merch types to finds: Non-TCG cards. these can be anything from gum cards, e-reader cards, post cards, to more obsucre card shaped things. as long as its not official tcg set card its likely here. there will likely be overlap (or even mistakes) in relation to sticker and seals - for things I don't personally own it can be hard sometimes to tell the difference between a card card and a sticker card

Pencil Boards Not all of these might be pencil boards to be honest, but all of them are hard roughly paper sized pieces of plastic or cardboard/paper with pokemon on them, which is good enough for me.

Stationary and Stamps While there haven't been any ralts line stamps for actual postage you can buy at a post office, there have been multiple stamp like things (mostly stickers) that are fantastic. So "stamps" and any form of stationary such as pencils, pens, rulers, writing utensil holders and the like.

Stickers and Seals Another fantastic wide range of merch to parooze. there. are. so. many. STICKERS OUT THERE. Dominic Dearlove's fantastic website, PokemonStickerpedia Is an excellent resource and starting point for your sticker based journey ๐Ÿ‘€. Anyway STICKERS! single stickers, sticker sets, sticker sheets, sticker books, sticker boxes, stickers in books, temporary tats - the list goes on and on and on. this section will not always have tidy answers on where and when stickers came from, but i'll do the best I can. (and like with what i said about paper goods, there is a chance that this and paper goods might be mistakely Identified)

Tazos and tokens and tags - oh my! Tags are the easiest to start with - dog tags, official and not. Tokens refer to metal and plastic objects, round ussually in shape used for a purpose, such as battrio arcade tokens, or for decroative coins; a variety of small flatish objects will be here including aformentioned tokens, coins, japanese arcade pieces, roks, waps, staks, action flips, flix-pix and the like. tazos are a little different. While there are official Tazos, the majority of ralts line were extremly limited, so most tazos seen here will be unoffical or fakes. A tazo is a small round disc, usually paper, cardboard, or metal for our puproses, with the image of a pokemon on them. The section will go over them in more detail, but they look like pops for reference

TCG Accessories Anything that you might use if you were about to play a pokemon card battle, or for card collecting. Decks, deck boxes, sleaves, playmats, pokemon play coins, binders (ILU BINDERS). There will also be card pack and blisters in this section.

Other toys Pretty much everything else. Puzzles, megabloks/legos, Katruta, board games, card games, magic. Video game consoles, and everything else
